We are really pleased that two of our closest pubs have re-opened recently adding to our already plentiful list of good locals. Both the Red Lion in Oakford and the Exeter Inn near Bampton have been fully re-furbished and have fantastic menus, perfect for our self-catering holiday cottage guests who want a night off from the cooking. Like our holiday cottages, both pubs are dog friendly.
In other news our nearest pub The Swan has recently been named by the AA as the nation’s ‘Inn of the Year’ 2019-20 - very well deserved and in addition to being listed number 20 in the ‘Estrella Damm’ Top 50 Gastropub list earlier this year!
