Foodies can spend many happy hours in this area sourcing the most fantastic local produce from our farm shops and butchers, from home-made venison sausages to wonderful local organic lamb. Fish lovers are spoilt for choice too with a great local trout farm selling delicious smoked fare and pate, a fresh fish van with weekly stops in Bampton and Dulverton and of course the requisite fish and chip shop in Bampton.  There are also plenty of shops nearby for groceries and all essentials with the bigger supermarkets 15 minutes away in Tiverton.
